The Lakes region of Maine includes some of the best swimming and sunbathing in Maine. Some of our favorites include:
Naples Town Beach- Located within walking distance, swim and picnic at our beautiful Naples Town Beach, (day passes are available at the ABH for our guests)
Songo Beach is one of the most popular parks in the state. But most find it's worth it once their feet touch the soft, beige sand—which stretches for 300 yards. And once you're there, there's little reason to leave, because the park has bathrooms, a changing area, picnic tables, and an on-site concession stand selling burgers, hot dogs, and other treats
Bring your own, or rent from one of several area marinas within walking distance, Including Captain Dingley's Board Shop , Causeway Marina , Long Lake Marina , Moose Landing Marina , Naples Marina , Sebago Kayak Company , TP RAD Jet Ski Rentals .
Range beach is expansive enough to accommodate the large number of visitors without getting too crowded. A winding promenade running 1,000 feet along the beach area looks and feels almost like a San Diego boardwalk. But perhaps what is most impressive about Range is its sophisticated handicapped accessibility. Not only are the beach and washroom wheelchair accessible, but so is the water. There is a ramp that extends all the way into the water
From swings, go-karts, zip lines, water park and tubes in summer, to snow tubing fun in winter, enjoy year round family fun on your adventurous day out in Maine!
Love tubing but hate it when winter ends? Love ziplines and go-karts but hate it when summer ends? At Seacoast Adventure you get all year round fun for the whole family to keep you excited and entertained!
In summer, there are fun attractions from April to October, and one of their BIGGEST attractions is the incredible 100 foot high Sky Swing - which is perfect for those thrill-seekers in the family who are looking for that adrenaline rush.
And.
swing! Yep - there's also adventure golf! Get a bit of friendly family competition going on with the family in their fun 18 hole golf course.
Try and get that hole in one - we know you can! If you like to get behind the wheel and test your ability around the track, then head to Bullet Go-Karts.
You never know, you might be a Formula 1 champion in the making! For 1/4 mile you can try and get the fastest time - just look out for that checkered flag!
Think tubing is just for the winter? Nope! Not at Seacoast Adventure, where you can just grab that inner tube and plunge down the track.
Don't worry, it's a dry track, so you won't get wet, and you can run side by side next to your family, OR even link up 4 tubes together!
Ever tried disc golf? Kids will love trying this new and exciting sport where it combines an 18 hole course with woods and mountains, so it will challenge even the most experienced golfer, but also give you a TON of fun in the meantime!
And did we mention the Sky Swing? You can fly up to 3 at a time, and feel like a bird and FLY!
You can't have a summer without a water park, and Shipwreck Cove is a fun outdoor water playground with a dumping bucket, slides and water squirts - and what is frozen water? Ice of course! Which brings us into winter!
Snow Tubing is great from December where you can slide down the many lanes.
But don't worry if there isn't snow - they make it themselves!
We told you there really was year round adventure at Seacoast Adventure!
